Van harte - Congrats
Een klein kaartje om iemand geluk te wensen. De achtergrond is met distress inkt gestempeld. Geeft weer een heel apart effect met de 'kant' stempel van Hero Arts. De tekst en het hartje zijn rub ons.
A small congratulations card (4x4). I stamped the background with distress ink which gave an interesting effect with the 'lace' stamp from Hero Arts. The sentiment and heart are rub ons.

Eye of the beholder
Het thema bij The Three Muses is Eyes. Ik heb er deze kaart van gemaakt. Tot mijn eigen verrassing is er niets aan gestempeld. De achtergrond heb ik zelf gemaakt en afgedrukt. Ook de tekst heb ik afgedrukt. Verder wat spiegelfolie en een stickertje gebruikt.
Was nog moeilijk te fotograferen zonder de camera in beeld te krijgen!

I created and printed the background and the sentiment on the computer. Other materials include mirror foil and a tiny heart sticker.
A bit tricky to get a picture without the camera being reflected!

Happy Birthday
Deze kaart had ik oorspronkelijk bedoeld voor een wedstrijd, maar ik heb een andere ingestuurd, dus deze kan ik gewoon laten zien.

Altijd leuk, een kaart in zwart-wit. Ik weet nog niet of ik 'm zo laat of dat ik 'm toch ga pimpen, meestal wordt het er niet mooier door.

Bij Sunday Stampers is het thema Numbers. Hierbij heb ik het liedje van 'ons Guus' in gedachten. Dus hierbij nummer 4 in de ATC serie over songs.
Ben er niet helemaal tevreden over, misschien had ik beter iets grootsers kunnen maken, ten slotte is het ook Hels' verjaardag. In ieder geval van harte gefeliciteerd nog, Hels!
O ja, hier kun je het liedje horen.

Het thema bij de Sunday Stampers is Letters. Het was in eerste instantie lastig daar een alternatieve song bij te verzinnen, maar het werd deze. Dus hierbij de derde ATC in de serie songs.

Song
Het is woensdag, tijd om de nieuwe challenge van The Three Muses te plaatsen. Dit keer is het thema song, dus ik heb weer een ATC gemaakt, de tweede uit de serie Songs.
De titel van de song lijkt me niet moeilijk te raden, heb het vrij letterlijk gevolgd. Ha! ha! said the clown is echt zo'n liedje dat in m'n kop schiet als alles weer eens tegenzit.
Hier kun je het liedje beluisteren, mocht het je niets zeggen.
De stempels (vis en zeewier) zijn van Studio Art Stamps, de clown komt uit m'n grote voorraad vintage poesie album plaatjes.

Tyvek
Bij De Stempelwinkel is het thema deze maand tyvek en dat kwam goed uit want ik had wat meegenomen in Zeist. Dus hierbij mijn eerste poging met dit materiaal.
Geen idee of ik iets fout heb gedaan of dat het normaal is, ik had de tyvek eerst gekleurd met distress inkt en daarna verhit, maar de inkt bleef maar afgeven!
Omdat ik het stukje toch te leuk vond om weg te gooien, heb ik geprobeerd het te fixeren met haarlak en dat lukte zowaar. :)
Zowel de achtergrond als de tyvek is met distress inkt gekleurd en daarna heb ik nog wat metallic paarse colorbox gebruikt. De swirl is van De Stempelwinkel, het gezicht van Fusion Art.

I'm not sure if I've used too much ink but after I heated and melted the tyvek, the ink just kept staining. However, I still wanted to use this piece so I fixated it with hairspray and that did the trick! :)
I coloured the background and tyvek with distress inks and added some metallic purple colorbox for interest. The swirl is a stamp from De Stempelwinkel and the face is from Fusion Art.

Aaaaawwwww
Tijd om weer eens een simpel schattig kaartje te maken. Ditmaal voor een jongetje dat maar liefst één jaar wordt. Het stempeltje is van Marianne Design en ik heb het met aquarelverf ingekleurd.
Dit kaartje voldoet ook meteen aan de challenge van Simon Says Challenge , die deze week om een mannenkaart vragen.

Gelukkig kan ik deze week een aantal challenges combineren, want ik had niet veel tijd om te stempelen.
Ik heb een 4x4 kaart gemaakt op het thema Tijd van The Three Muses , en Vleugels van zowel Sunday Stampers als Gingersnap Creations .
Het horloge is van Cherry Pie, de vleugels van Fusion Art. De achtergrond is met distress inkt gemaakt.
