Scrap

Het was weer eens tijd voor een simpel scrapkaartje. Ik maak ze niet veel, maar ter afwisseling is het heel leuk om te doen. Toen ik het kaartje af had, bedacht ik me dat het heel geschikt zou zijn voor Yolanda's verjaardag.
Het vogeltje is van Stampinback, ingekleurd met kleurpotloden. Het papier is van de serie Linen Closet van DCWV.

It's been a while since I made a scrapcard. I don't do them very often. But when I finished this one I thought it would be perfect for Yolanda's birthday.

The bird stamp is from Stampinback and the paper is from the Linen Closet line from DCWV.

Valentijnsvogel

Deze kaart had ik gemaakt voor de Valentijnswap van het WenskaartenID forum. Er werd eerst nog hevig gespeculeerd over wie welke kaart gemaakt had, maar intussen is de uitslag bekend en kan ik de kaart hier tonen.
Er is maar 1 stempel gebruikt, een kanten achtergrond van Hero Arts op het vogeltje.

I made this Valentine's card for a swap at the WenskaartenID forum. It was an anonymous swap so there was some guessing going on on who made what. That's why this post is so late.
I only used one stamp, the lace background from Hero Arts.

Pendant

Deze hanger had ik gemaakt op de Rangerdagen van Artjourney in november, maar ik had hem nog niet eerder laten zien. Inmiddels zal degene aan wie ik het gestuurd heb, het hebben ontvangen, dus wilde ik het toch nog even hier tonen.

I made this pendant last november at Artjourney's Rangerweekend but never got to show it here. I'm pretty sure that the person I sent it to has received it so I can safely post it now.

Believe in your dreams

De achtergrond heb ik met meerdere kleuren Glimmermist gemaakt, vervolgens met bleekwater bestempeld. Daaroverheen weer met Stazon gestempeld. Alle gebruikte stempels zijn van Cherry Pie.

The background was done with a few colours of Glimmermist. Then I stamped with bleach and overstamped with Stazon. All stamps used are from Cherry Pie.

Butterflies

Weer een eenvoudige kaart. De stempels komen van een plate van Non Sequitur, de vlinders heb ik in wit geëmbossed op donkerblauw metallic karton en de tekst in donkerblauw gestempeld en met holografic poeder geëmbossed.

Another simple card. The stamps are from a Non Sequitur plate. I embossed the butterflies in white on blue metallic cardstock and the quote is stamped with blue ink and then embossed using holographic powder.

Weathered wood

Alweer tijd voor de volgende challenge van Compendium of Curiosities bij Studio L3.
De gebruikte distress inkt is Aged Mahogany en de achtergrond is ook 'gestempeld' met Aged Mahogany. De tekst is van Cherry Pie.

That's the next challenge at Compendium of Curiosities. I used the gold paint dabber and Aged Mahogany DI. The background was also 'stamped' with Aged Mahogany.

Misschien hebben jullie de berichtjes her en der al gezien in blogland, het grijpt razendsnel om zich heen. Ik zag het voor het eerst op Paula's blog. Het idee is om de eerste 5 mensen die reageren op deze post een handgemaakt kadootje te sturen. Colorful layered fragments

De 28ste challenge weer bij Compendium of Curiosities. Dit keer is de techniek colorful layered fragments. Ik moet zeggen dat toen ik er mee bezig was, ik me afvroeg waarom ik zo ingewikkeld deed. Tenslotte kun je gewoon de fragments op je stempelwerk plakken en zie je de stempel er doorheen. Maar deze techniek geeft wel een heel mooi 3D effect wat je dus niet op de foto kunt laten zien.
De stempel is een oudje van Stampington&Company.

The 28th challenge at Compendium of Curiosities. The technique at hand is colorful layered fragments. It gives a wonderful 3D effect to the fragments which I just can't capture in the pic. Also the word A R T in the lower fragment got lost in the picure, sorry for that.

Alcoholinkt

Tijdens het Rangerweekend van Artjourney was ik dan eindelijk overstag gegaan en had mijn eerste flesjes alcoholinkt aangeschaft. Ziehier het eerste resultaat.

Distress Misting Masks

Het is weer tijd voor de Compendium of Curiosities Challenge bij Studio L3. Ik wilde het eerst combineren met de Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge, maar dat is meer bedoeld voor de vintage stijl en blijkbaar zit ik nog volop in CAS.
